David Moss has litigated several hundred cases on behalf of injured railroad workers around the country. He has represented thousands of injured victims and their families against insurance companies, national corporations, hospitals, municipalities and individual defendants. For more than a quarter of a century, David Moss has fought for the rights of injured persons. His skills, both in and out of the courtroom, have resulted in numerous multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients and their families. A Detroit jury returned a 15 million dollar verdict for one such family in a case involving a drunk driver and a local Detroit Casino! This past year, those skills produced more than 10 million dollars in successful claims against hospitals, construction companies, railroad carriers, bars and drunk drivers. In addition to his trial and negotiation skills, Mr. Moss has also argued before the Michigan Supreme Court and several Michigan Court of Appeals panels. A recent success out of the Michigan Supreme Court resulted in a recovery of hundreds of thousands of dollars to a Detroit family in a medical malpractice case. Mr. Moss is a member of the State of Michigan, Detroit, and Oakland County Bar Associations. He is licensed to practice in all Michigan state and federal Courts. Mr. Moss is also certified as a Case Evaluator/Mediator, and is often selected by other plaintiff attorneys to sit as a designated arbitrator on their client's behalf to resolve complicated cases.
David Moss has been married for 24 years and has two adult children. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, boating, and camping. Mr. Moss has been an Assistant Scout Master with his son's Boy Scout Troop for many years. He actively participated and assisted his son and other young men along their path to the rank of "Eagle Scout." Mr. Moss also believes regular exercise is an important component to maintaining his competitive edge - consequently, he is a cyclist and passionate about downhill skiing. Mr. Moss also regularly practices yoga in order to strike a balance between the rigors of a demanding law practice and life's everyday challenges.
