Overview
David Ventoso is a member of the firm’s civil practice group, where he works on a civil litigation matters such as personal injury and commercial litigation. He is also involved in a broad range of other practice areas including but not limited to municipal, real estate, bankruptcy, probate, DWIs and other minor criminal infractions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ventoso served in two judicial law clerkships. The first with the Honorable Christopher S. Romanyshyn, J.S.C., a Judge in the Non-Dissolution, Family Part in Essex County. During his clerkship with Judge Romanyshyn, Mr. Ventoso handled a variety of litigation matters involving custody, visitation, child support, and more. He served his second judicial clerkship with the Honorable Donna Gallucio, J.S.C. in the Passaic County criminal division. During his clerkship in Passaic County, he handled pretrial detention matters. His responsibilities included drafting orders, coordinating with the Pre-Trial Services department, and served as a mediator for Landlord/Tenant matters.
Mr. Ventoso earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in New York, NY. While in law school, Mr. Ventoso interned for the Honorable John A. Conte, J.S.C. (Ret.) where he drafted legal opinions for termination of parental rights, municipal appeals, and assisted in the criminal division as a de facto law clerk. During his time in law school, he earned first place in his intramural negotiation competition.
Mr. Ventoso earned his undergraduate degree from the Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he majored in Sports Management.
