Deborah Anice Pittman - Cumming, GA

Overview

Deborah Anice Pittman (Swofford) joined Miles Hansford & Tallant, LLC in 2016 and is now a Partner in the firm. Her primary practice areas are family law and criminal defense; however, she also handles general civil litigation matters and is a certified civil and family law mediator. Deborah is passionate about engaging in her local communities and enjoys running, playing tennis and spending time with family and friends.

In 2009, Deborah graduated from Georgia Southern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude. Following graduation from Georgia Southern, Deborah attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. In law school, Deborah was actively involved in the Association of Women Lawyers. Deborah was also inducted into Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. Deborah graduated in May, 2012 and was admitted to the Georgia State Bar in November, 2012.

Deborah is admitted to practice in Georgia State and Superiors Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

In addition to legal practice, Ms. Pittman (Swofford) is actively engaged in the community. Ms. Pittman (Swofford) is involved in the following community and professional organizations: Rotary Club of Alpharetta (Board Member), Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce (Ambassador), Roswell Women’s Success Network, Leadership North Fulton, Roswell Attorney Project, and the Forsyth County Bar Association.
