Denise is a graduate of New York University, Widener University School of Law, and holds a Certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova Law School's Graduate Tax Program. While in law school, Denise worked as the Chief Deputy Register of Wills for New Castle County and following law school, had the privilege of working as a Clerk in Delaware Superior Court for the Honorable Richard S. Gebelein. Prior to opening her own practice, Denise was an associate attorney at a small boutique estate planning law firm in Old New Castle where she gained valuable experience working with high net worth clients and their families.
Denise is admitted to practice law in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware.
In addition to her law practice, Denise has also enjoyed being an Adjunct Faculty Member at Wilmington University where she has taught Estate Planning and Probate to students in the Paralegal certification program and Business Law to Accounting and Finance Majors.
In 2015 Denise was given a rare Letter of Commendation by the New Castle County Register of Wills for closing an estate that was open for more than 14 years and thereby getting 28 charitable organizations their bequests. It was one of the more complicated matters anyone could recall.
More recently, Denise was honored to be given the Delaware State Bar Association "Access to Justice Award" for her commitment to Pro Bono work "demonstrating a sterling commitment to Access to Justice work throughout her career".
