Ms. Ruíz-Hernández joined Delgado Fernández, LLC in 2009 as a Senior Associate and Supervisor of the Real Estate and Commercial Transactions Department.
Prior to joining Delgado Fernández, LLC, Ms. Ruíz-Hernández has been involved in mortgage closings for more than 30 years. She has resolved legal issues for residential closing cases referred by Puerto Rico’s largest mortgage banks. She is experienced in analyzing and providing legal advise in highly complex mortgage closings, including commercial closings.
Her principal areas of practice include real estate, mortgage law, property registry issues, commercial lending, corporate law, secured transactions, banking law, and general civil practice.
Over the years, Ms. Ruíz-Hernández has been involved in various aspects of the real estate, commercial lending and corporate practice. She regularly offers lectures, workshops and seminars to Puerto Rico’s banks.
Ms. Ruíz-Hernández is also a Notary Public.
