Eric regularly represents financial institutions and broker/dealer organizations, and their employees and registered representatives, in civil proceedings and FINRA arbitrations. He has also represented officers and directors in shareholder derivative actions and assisted clients in responding to SEC investigations focused on allegations of securities fraud.
He was appointed General Counsel of the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club, and is the former Chair and current member of the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center. He also volunteers his time tutoring and mentoring students in Cleveland Municipal Schools through the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's 3R's Program.
Eric co-authored "On the Road to IFRS in the United States" (2009) and "The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act: Pitfalls in Doing Business Overseas" (2008). He received his J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from Miami University.
