Overview
Erica is an Associate Attorney at Triangle Law Group. She was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Erica graduated from the University of South Florida magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Public Administration. During college she was a member of the Business Honor's Program and was a Muma College of Business 25 under 25 Scholar.
Erica received her law degree cum laude from Florida State University College of Law in 2020. Upon graduation she received an Environmental, Natural Resources, and Land Use Law Certificate with high honors. During law school Erica was an executive editor for the Business Law Review and the Journal of Land Use and Environmental law and served as a staff editor for the Florida State University Law Review. Erica was on the Dean's List and awarded an honors designation in her Certified Practice Perspectives Course, as well as receiving book awards for the highest grade in her Professional Responsibility and Energy Law & Policy courses.
Erica started her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney for the 14th Judicial Circuit down in Panama City, Florida. She prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to felony charges. She managed cases at all stages of the litigation process, from first appearance all the way through to jury trials. She and her family then made the move from Florida to North Carolina where she obtained her North Carolina license and transitioned to Triangle Law Group in 2022.
Erica is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyer Division. In her free-time, she likes to go hiking, read, do puzzles, and spend time with her dogs, Ron and Tomás, and her cat, Lil Sebastian.
