Prior to joining Fitapelli & Schaffer, LLP, Mr. Mazzaferro concentrated in the areas of knowledge management and electronically stored information (ESI) with regard to the practice of law. Mr. Mazzaferro has had extensive experience and education in these areas as the result of intensive project based learning programs with Legal OnRamp and the New York State Office of Technology.
Mr. Mazzaferro received his undergraduate degree in Communications, with a minor in International Studies, from the State University of New York at Fredonia. He earned his Juris Doctor at New York Law School in New York City. There he was an executive member of the New York Law School Moot Court Association and received the Moot Court Association Service with Distinction Award. Mr. Mazzaferro also served as a staff editor for the Media Law and Policy Journal where his work focused on the effects of emerging technology on employee rights. Mr. Mazzaferro is a member of New York County Lawyers Association.
