Greg Prysock is the managing partner of the North Florida offices of Morgan & Morgan, and is also a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He was raised in Florida and attended the University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1991. He then attended the University of Florida College of Law, graduating with honors in 1995.

Mr. Prysock began his legal career working for a statewide civil trial defense firm, specializing in medical malpractice, nursing home, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. In 1999, he joined Morgan & Morgan and began pursuing claims on behalf of clients injured by the negligence of others. Since joining the firm, he has represented hundreds of clients and their families helped them obtain multiple verdicts in excess of a million dollars.

Over the past several years, Mr. Prysock has dedicated much of his practice to pursuing justice for the families of smokers who died as a result of the negligence, fraud, and conspiracy committed by the major tobacco companies in the United States starting in the 1950s. Each year, cigarette smoking kills 460,000 Americans. Additionally, 3,000 kids begin smoking in the United States every day, not knowing that the cigarette makers manufacture their products to be as addictive as possible.

Mr. Prysock passionately believes that the only way to bring about change on the part of corporations like the tobacco companies is to hold them accountable in courtrooms across Florida. In Gainesville, he has obtained a $45 million jury verdict on behalf of his client in a lawsuit against R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. The client was widowed when her husband died of lung cancer from cigarette smoking. Two national legal publications ranked the verdict as one of the top ten verdicts of the year in the United States. In another trial against Philip Morris USA and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. in Jacksonville, his client was the surviving husband of a woman who died from complications of COPD caused by cigarette smoking. After 3 and 1/2 weeks of trial, the jury returned a verdict of $18 million against the cigarette manufacturers. In Orlando, he obtained a $6 million verdict for an 89-year-old WWII veteran who lost his wife of 43 years as a result of COPD.

Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Prysock speaks in classrooms to children about the dangers of smoking and the massive cover up by the tobacco companies.

Since 2006, the Florida Bar has recognized Mr. Prysock as a Board-Certified Civil Trial Attorney, an honor given to less than 2% of all attorneys practicing in the State of Florida. This certification is the highest level of distinction by the Florida Bar in the area of Civil Trial Litigation. Florida Trend Magazine has recognized Mr. Prysock as one of its statewide "Legal Elite Attorneys", and Law & Politics Magazine has selected him as one of its "Florida Super Lawyers" annually for the past decade.

Mr. Prysock is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, the oldest attorney rating system in the United Stated. An AV-Preeminent designation is the highest available and is "a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence." He was also recently selected by his peers to join the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial and elevating the standards of integrity, honor, ethics, civility, and courtesy in the legal profession.

Mr. Prysock serves on the Advisory Board for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of North Florida, providing wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. He also is a Board of Director of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to low income and other special needs individuals.
