Overview
Wayne Cooper specializes in the sale and purchase of multi-million dollar companies, as well as public and private offerings for clients in a wide variety of industries. He works with clients in the areas of securities, corporate and partnership financing, franchising law, mergers and acquisitions and oil and gas.
Wayne is a sought-after lecturer on the subject of limited liability companies, corporate finance and exemptions from registration. He has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Tulsa College of Law and is the co-author of a widely used Oklahoma-based book, Business Organizations, Vernon's Oklahoma Forms 2d.
Prior to law school, Wayne served four years in the United States Air Force as a development engineer and was discharged as a Captain in 1972. After law school, he served as law clerk for the Honorable William J. Holloway, Jr., Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Wayne started with the firm in 1976 and currently serves as leader of the Corporate/Securities practice group.
