Overview
Jacob is an experienced litigator whose practice at Levy Konigsberg centers on asbestos litigation, product liability, and civil rights litigation. Jacob is licensed to practice in Mississippi, New York, and New Jersey, and he brings ten years of national litigation experience to the firm, having first clerked for then-Chief United States District Judge Michael P. Mills in 2012 and then joining the prominent Oxford, Mississippi firm of Tannehill, Carmean, & McKenzie PLLC, where his multifaceted practice focused on personal injury, civil rights litigation, and real estate transactions.
Jacob graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law, cum laude, where he worked for the Mississippi Innocence Project, served as a member and coach of the Moot Court Board, and received the Arthur B. Clark Scholarship of Law. Jacob also obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) from New York University School of Law where he was a recipient of the Dean's Graduate Award and an editor of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy.
Jacob is also a musician who obtained his Bachelor of Music from Florida State University and a Master of Music from the University of Texas at Austin, both in Classical Guitar Performance. There, he had the honor of studying with internationally renowned guitar professors Bruce Holzman and Adam Holzman, respectively. Having performed as a soloist in Greece, Canada, France, England, Italy, and throughout the United States, he cherished these opportunities but ultimately entered law school to represent others in need.
An avid runner and lover of books, Jacob also enjoys spending time with family and living the dream in New York City, where he goes to Carnegie Hall and jazz clubs whenever he can. He lives in New York and Mississippi.
