In his more than thirty years of law practice, Mr. Wallington has been engaged by labor organizations and individuals to serve as lead litigation attorney in complex civil litigation involving trials, motions practice and discovery in US District Courts, state trial courts, federal and state appellate courts, federal and state administrative agencies and private dispute resolution proceedings. He has served as legal advisor to union negotiators of collective bargaining agreements in trucking, healthcare, construction and other private industries, and advising union negotiators of collective bargaining agreements with public employers. He serves as legal advisor to officers of labor organizations regarding federal reporting/disclosure law compliance and internal union constitution matters. Mr. Wallington provides legal advice and litigation representation on behalf of employees in employment, EEO and benefits disputes with private and public employers.

Early in his legal career, Mr. Wallington also represented clients in litigation on behalf of workers in fatal and non-fatal coal mining accidents and on behalf of workers injured by occupational exposure to asbestos. Upon his 1980 graduation from the West Virginia University College of Law, Mr. Wallington was appointed as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of West Virginia providing legal advice and litigation on behalf of state agencies regulating mine safety and oil and gas production.
