Jim is a firm partner with primary focus on litigation and pre-litigation civil matters for individuals and small to mid-sized businesses. He helps clients navigate and enforce their rights in business deals, real estate, corporate management, contracts, trust and estate litigation, debt collection and family law. Jim is also a member of the firm's management team and serves as the CFO. Jim is frequently appointed by local judges as a court appointed receiver, special administrator, personal representative and auditor in complex corporate, family law, and probate matters. Jim is active in the south metro business community and has served on several local boards of directors. An important part of his practice includes keeping clients advised about updates in the law and current events which may affect their businesses. In the past 9 years, Jim has been selected by his peers in FindLaw's SuperLawyers recognition program. Jim has been a featured legal analyst and the subject of news stories by Minnesota Public Radio, KARE11, KSTP, Fox 9, and WCCO.
