Jared Reams has extensive experience litigating matters involving government contracts and regulations, commercial disputes, unfair competition, anticompetitive business practices, and intellectual property rights. He regularly represents clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative tribunals.
Representing clients adverse to the government is a routine practice for Jared, whether as plaintiff or defendant. He has handled numerous False Claims Act cases, bid protests, requests for equitable adjustment and certified claims, appeals before the Armed Services and Civil Boards of Contract Appeals, and contract disputes in the Court of Federal Claims. The government is a difficult opponent, and the numerous disputes Jared has handled against the United States and local governments have honed his skills regarding fraud, contracts, and competition law. These skills serve him well in his commercial litigation cases, composing roughly half of his practice, where similar subject matter frequently arises.
Jared graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he now teaches as an adjunct professor of mock trial.
