He began his career as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in Hillsboro, Missouri. After gaining trial experience with the prosecutor's office, Mr. Korner began his criminal defense career with The Law Office of Carl Ward in Washington, Missouri. While there, Mr. Korner ran the law firm's general criminal practice where he became experienced in defending many different crimes in all parts of Missouri. Mr. Korner has practiced in over 25 counties, and more than 35 municipalities in the State of Missouri. In July of 2008, he was invited to teach at a Continuing Legal Education seminar, where he was part of a team that taught over 150 Missouri attorneys how to properly take a DWI case to trial. Although still only a young man, Mr. Korner's skill and ambition have helped him represent each of his clients with the knowledge, experience and compassion it takes to be a successful trial attorney.
