Overview

JAY C. MINER graduated from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 1969 where he was a member of the law review. After graduating from law school, Jay went to work for the Interstate Commerce Commission as an attorney advisor. Jay then went to the State of Arkansas where he practiced transportation law. After deregulation of the industry, Jay opened a general law practice where he focused on personal bankruptcies, criminal defense and municipal law. He also worked as a town prosecutor in Northwest Arkansas for over twenty (20) years.

Jay moved to the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2004 where he opened his own practice with a concentration on criminal defense and personal bankruptcy law. Jay has recently authored a book titled Lincoln's First Nomination that was released in 2008.
