John W. Schilt has a varied practical background which serves well in identifying with both judges and juries. He can articulate your position with utmost clarity. Mr. Schilt is licensed to practice law in South Dakota, Minnesota and California. He is registered with numerous Federal Courts in several jurisdictions. He is also a licensed real estate agent, contractor, and pilot. Mr. Schilt is also fluent in German.
Mr. Schilt has taught various subjects to Engineering, General and Specialty Contractors, preparing them for the California State Contractor's Exam. Subjects include General Contract Law, Mechanic's Lien Law, and Accounting and Finance (2002-2007).
With an M.B.A. in Management and Finance, John has successfully run several businesses including an Advertising Agency (1979-1989) and General Building Contractor (1986-1994).
Mr. Schilt is married and has two children. Currently, he spends his free time coaching Little League baseball and serves for the City of Pinole, California, Economic Development and Housing Advisory Commission. Mr. Schilt is also Chief Liaison Office for Charter School Development and Feasibility in the City of Pinole.
