Jonathan was born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1968 and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, receiving a B.A. degree in 1990. He earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1993 and was admitted to practice law in New York in 1994. He served as Associate Counsel for Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, LLP from 1999 to 2004.
