Born in Anchorage Alaska, Joshua Fink knew since High School that practicing law was going to be his calling. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame with high honors, Joshua attended law school at the University of Washington where he served on law review and graduated again with high honors.
Afterwards Joshua Fink Clerked for the Supreme Court in 1998. The next year, Joshua was hired as a law clerk for the trial courts in Barrow, Nome, and Kotzebue and also served as a Deputy Magistrate.
Thereafter, Joshua joined a prestigious private law firm in Anchorage before joining the Public Defender Agency as a trial lawyer. After a year there, he was appointed the Public Advocate for the State of Alaska defending criminal defendants, abused children and vulnerable adults. He served in that capacity for five years. He then ventured out on his own building his own practice.
