Judge Snyder graduated from Rutgers University (B.A. in Psychology) and received his law degree magna cum laude from the Delaware Law School of Widener University. Early in his career, Judge Snyder served as Planning Board Solicitor in both Voorhees Township and the Borough of Palmyra. . In addition, he served as both a prosecutor and public defender in New Jersey. Prior to becoming a Judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Judge Snyder was a well-respected civil litigator for the both plaintiffs and defendants.
Since August 1993, Judge Snyder has served the Superior Court of New Jersey in the Camden County Vicinage. Judge Snyder has presided over literally thousands of civil and criminal cases. He was known during his time on the bench for his vast knowledge of civil and criminal law, procedure and practice. Judge Snyder was widely recognized as one of the Judiciary's foremost legal minds in New Jersey, having spent decades teaching both members of the judiciary and the bar about the newest developments in both civil and criminal the law. He now brings that knowledge and expertise to Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt and Flores, to help both their attorneys and clients.
