Greenbelt Bankruptcy Lawyer
Overview
Justin's primary areas of practice are bankruptcy, business reorganizations, creditor rights, and litigation. He represents debtors, trustees, creditors, lessors, secured lenders and vendors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 voluntary and involuntary cases. He is experienced in various bankruptcy-related litigation, including confirmation of proposed plans, automatic stay actions, preferential and fraudulent conveyance lawsuits and transfer actions, dischargeability and discharge actions. Justin also has significant experience handling lawsuits related to the fiduciary duties of corporate insiders.
Justin says, "I was initially attracted to the field of bankruptcy and restructuring when I saw how bankruptcy lawyers could be problem solvers. There are very few fields of law where everyone leaves a case happy, but the purpose of a well-planned bankruptcy or out-of-court workout is to get a deal done that every party at least finds acceptable. It’s been a pleasure helping my clients of all types, whether they be debtors looking to restructure unpayable debts, or creditors looking to manage and maximize their collection recoveries. I’m always looking for the most cost-effective way to get my clients the best possible results.”
James Greenan, managing principal and head of the bankruptcy group, explains that "Mr. Fasano brings significant bankruptcy and litigation experience to the department, and strengthens the practice group with his knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy law, business reorganization and creditors’ rights." Admitted to practice in Maryland and Virginia, Justin brings depth to the group and the experience required to assist with the complex issues business owners face during financial adversity.
Justin is a brand new father to son Benjamin. He enjoys kayaking and playing racquetball and softball.
