Overview
Kenton (Kent) Harding graduated from Louisburg High School in May of 2006 going on to attend Pittsburg State University where he graduated in 2010 with a prelaw degree Majoring in Political Science with a minor in History. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in May of 2014 with an emphasis in litigation after representing UMKC on their mock trial team competing against other law students from around the country. During law school Kent interned with the Missouri Public Defender's Office where he worked with the capital division defending clients facing the death penalty. Kent Subsequently began work as an intern with the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office working on matters ranging from child support matters to assisting with prosecution of murder cases. Kent was admitted to the Missouri Bar in October of 2014.As a lawyer Kent began his career with the Missouri State Public Defender's Office where he represented clients in all forms of matters ranging from traffic tickets to murder trials. Kent is fully versed in representing clients prior to a case being filed all the way through jury trial and beyond. After working with the Public Defender's Office, Kent went on to work as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Johnson County Prosecutor's Office continuing to handle all types of cases ranging from class A felonies to traffic tickets trying many more trials in the process. In his practice with Dull & Heany, Kent is excited to bring this extensive court room litigation experience to the realm of family law and civil practice and to assist our clients in obtaining results in the judicial system on a variety of matters.
Kent played baseball in high school and in college and has spent his whole life in the Midwest. Whenever he's not practicing law, Kent enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing and competing in CrossFit competitions.
