In 2005, Laura received a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business with a minor in German from Texas Tech University. In 2013, she received her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law.After law school, Laura clerked for the Superior Court of Alaska. Thereafter, she worked as an associate attorney in a boutique family law firm in Winchester, Virginia, and then moved back to Virginia Beach. Family law has been her primary practices since 2014. Also, Laura has served as a Guardian ad litem for children since 2015, advocating for their best interests in family law matters. Additionally, Laura was certified as a mediator by the Supreme Court of Virginia in 2017.
Laura is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Beach Bar Association, and the Virginia Bar Association. She has been named to the Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers and named as a Pro Bono Hero by the Virginia State Bar.
When she is not working, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She and her husband enjoy boating, fishing, gardening, and chasing after their young children.
