Ms. Morrison also successfully advocated before the New York State Senate to expand coverage of the New York State Human Rights Law (NYSHRL), so that more workers are protected from unlawful employment practices. Ms. Morrison also co-drafted sections of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended (ADAAA), to expand statutory coverage to people with learning and other disabilities on behalf of the National Center for Learning Disabilities.
Before founding her own firm, Ms. Morrison clerked for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and she worked in prominent New York City-based private law firms.
Ms. Morrison graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She received her law degree from Cornell Law School.
