Lee is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, and the North Carolina Bar Association. In addition to his legal work, Lee has been very active in the local community. He is a member of the North Wilkesboro Rotary Club, the Wilkes Education Foundation, and is serving, or has served, on the Board of Directors of the Yadkin River Greenway Council, the North Wilkesboro Rotary Club, the North Wilkesboro Rotary Club Scholarship Foundation, and the Wilkes Rescue Squad, Wilkes United Way, and the Health Foundation.
