He has practiced family law from 1993 to the present, litigating over 500 family law cases in the courts. He has completed the 40 hour mediator training program and the 20 hour family law mediator training program. He has served as an instructor in the mediator training program and the family law mediator training program. He has served as a mediator for the EEOC, mediating 74 cases.
Former Chair of the American Bar Association's Family Law Litigation Committee
On a national level, Mr. Ashmore has served as chair of the American Bar Association's Domestic Relations and Family Law Litigation Committee. He has also served as editor of the American Bar Association's Family Law Litigation Newsletter. He has been awarded the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation's prestigious Star Award.
He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, as well as the Family Law Section of the State Bar. He is also a member of the Glynn County Bar Association, the American Bar Association's Family Law Section, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. He is a current member of the American Bar Association's Marital Property Committee.
