His practice is focused on helping families and individuals protect their assets for future generations, and navigate an ever-changing and complex legal system. Mark advises clients on estate planning strategies to help minimize estate taxes and plan for long-term care. Prior to working at McHugh Law, Mark worked as an estate planning associate at Wichins Cosentino & Novins, LLP, in Wellesley, Massachusetts, establishing sophisticated estate plans for individuals concerned with estate taxation and business succession. Mark also advised and assisted with all aspects of probate administration. He established and maintained his own practice, where he advised and assisted clients in various areas of law, including estate planning, elder law, business formation, real estate, and non-profit formation.
Mark is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where he achieved Pro-Bono Honors for his extensive volunteer work in child welfare law at the Middlesex Juvenile Court in Lowell. He is also a co-founder and Trustee of The Geppetto Fund, a grant-making, non-profit established for the purpose of helping families afford the cost of maxillofacial prostheses.
