He has broad transactional experience representing business and individuals. Prior to returning home to Shelbyville to practice law, Matt worked for a law firm in Lousiville. He was involved in numerous mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, corporate reorganizations, and tax matters.
In addition to maintaining a private law practice, Matt was an assistant county attorney for ten years. In that role, he was responsible for prosecuting misdemeanors and other criminal violations. He also assisted the Shelby Couny Fiscal Court with legal matters and pursued the collection of delinquent real estate taxes for the county.
