He has tried many cases throughout Alaska in both federal and state courts. Mr. Peterson has lectured on mediation, case management, evaluation of threshold issues, tort law in Alaska, legal responsibilities of health care and trial skills. Mr. Peterson holds an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell. As a result of peer reviews, he was selected to become a member of The National Association of Distinguished Neutrals in 2015. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and serves on several committees in the Alaska Bar Association.
