Trimble, Magistrate-Judge and now District Court Judge, United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Mr. Schwartzberg is licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana and the State of Texas, before the federal courts in the three federal judicial districts in Louisiana and the Eastern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Schwartzberg is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, and the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association. Initially, Mr. Schwartzberg began the practice of law with the firm of McHale, Bufkin, and Dees in 1989 in Lake Charles. The firm of Vamvoras and Schwartzberg was formed in 1998, and then Vamvoras Schwartzberg & Hinch was formed in 2010. Throughout his years of practicing law, Mr. Schwartzberg has handled a wide range of legal matters for individual clients ranging from all types of personal injury and accident claims, to succession matters, business disputes and litigation matters, insurance claims, and professional malpractice claims. There has always been an emphasis by Mr. Schwartzberg on vigorously representing clients, and giving personalized attention to all clients of the law firm. Mr. Schwartzberg grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and has lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana since 1986. He is married and has two sons of college age. Mr. Schwartzberg is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Congregation of Temple Sinai of Lake Charles, is a current member of the congregation, and has served as a Religious School teacher and principal.
