He was stationed onboard the U.S.S. Paul Hamilton (DDG 60), an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer with a home port of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. In 2011, Michael received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, and proceeded to obtain his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After graduation he worked in a law firm in Dickinson, North Dakota before joining Knoll Leibel LLP in 2018.
