Michael S. Kalis is of counsel to Rudolph Friedmann LLP. A 1981 graduate of Suffolk Law School, Attorney Kalis is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, the US District Court of Massachusetts, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the US Supreme Court. Attorney Kalis practice focuses primarily on advising clients on business disputes, bankruptcy options, debtor and creditor rights, civil litigation, tax issues and litigation, real estate transfers and acquisitions and a general business practice. Attorney Kalis is a longstanding member of the Mass. Bar Association. He worked for the Department of Justice in implementing the US Trustee program. He also clerked for the Honorable James N. Gabriel in the US Bankruptcy Court and has practiced law with a specialty in Bankruptcy for 32 years. Mike grew up in Sharon; he and his wife, Naomi, now reside in Stoughton where he enjoys golf and gardening. They have two grown children. Their son is bureau chief for a real estate reporting service in Miami and their daughter is with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C.
