Overview
Michael W. Brown has practiced law since 1984. Mike has an extensive background in litigation of personal injury cases, from filing the lawsuit through trial, for both the plaintiff and defendant. He obtained his law degree from California Western School of Law/UCSD in 1984. Following law school, Mike practiced from 1984 through 1991 at the City of Seattle, first in its Criminal Division, then was promoted to the Tort Division defending the city in a wide variety of lawsuits, including wrongful death, personal injury, utilities, parks, civil rights, and property related disputes. From 1991 through 1997 (and 2008 through 2012) Mike was a partner at a major defense firm in Seattle emphasizing personal injury litigation. From 1997-2008, Mike worked as a staff attorney, then managing attorney, for a local insurance company defending serious personal injury cases. Mike has an unwavering commitment to securing superior results for his clients. Mike realizes that his compassion for, and the reward in representing, injured clients far outweighs any benefit working for tortfeasors and their insurance companies.
