Overview
"What I have found meaningful & rewarding is the opportunity to make a real difference in my client's lives. Oftentimes, our clients come to us in a time of real crisis & need our help navigating the legal process, which we can, of course, do for them. What is different & interesting about this area of practice is how often the needs of our clients go beyond the need for legal advice...

"What I have found meaningful & rewarding is the opportunity to make a real difference in my client's lives. Oftentimes, our clients come to us in a time of real crisis & need our help navigating the legal process, which we can, of course, do for them. What is different & interesting about this area of practice is how often the needs of our clients go beyond the need for legal advice. Our clients & their families face life choices & decisions about real life issues: parents growing older & infirm, children with special needs, persons with disabilities or substance abuse problems, accusations involving exploitation, the need for customized & creative estate plans and the need to think ahead with regard to small businesses and how they are structured. In each of these areas of practice, mere technical expertise is not enough to fully assist our clients, and it is this blend of law and life that I find so fascinating."
A 1982 graduate of St. John's University School of Law, Mr. Kitroser worked as an associate in a real estate practice and in civil litigation before taking a position as confidential law clerk for New York State Supreme Court Justice Richard A. Goldberg. He relocated to Palm, Beach County in 1995, accepting a position as Assistant State Attorney with the Palm Beach County State Attorney's office. Mitchell Kitroser chose to focus his law practice on providing legal services geared to the specialized needs of today's family.
He is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Elder Law and Real Property and Trusts sections of the Florida Bar and the Florida State Guardianship Association. He is also admitted to practice law in both New York and Colorado. Mr. Kitroser is married with two children and is a resident of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
