Mitchell R. Aguilar grew up in the Coeur d'Alene area along with his younger sister, Morgan. He attended Coeur d'Alene High School where he lettered in football, basketball, and golf. Upon graduation, he attended Boise State University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2009.
Mitchell began his law career at Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana where he was ranked in the top 10% of his class and selected for the Honors Program. He engaged in a variety of activities, most notably, the Honors Moot Court team. After completing his first year, Mitchell transferred to the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2013. While there, he was a volunteer Magistrate Judge for the Pima County Teen Court, an alternative forum to the juvenile justice system for specially selected at risk youth.
Mitchell has been licensed in Idaho since 2016 and has interned with the Hon. Candy W. Dale at the United States District Court in Boise, successfully represented clients in criminal matters, and most recently worked with Ferguson Durham, PLLC in Boise, Idaho. He joined Amendola, Doty & Brumley, PLLC in 2017 and is excited for the opportunity to be back home serving the community where he grew up. In his spare time, he enjoys time with friends and family, hunting, boating, skiing, and especially playing golf.
