Patti Adams Schinzing, formerly known as Patti A. Adams, is the founding shareholder of the firm. The law is a second career for Patti where she has extensive experience in Human Resources, Employee Benefits and Long Term Disability Insurance. Patti currently practices in the areas of family law, estate planning, probate, and small business matters.
Patti’s goal is to assist client in achieving their desired results in a less adversarial manner, ever mindful that in many cases a relationship continues beyond the point when litigation has been completed. So if it is a family law dispute or a problem within your small business Patti strives to provide professional services with a dignified respectful approach, and as a result has enjoyed a high level of client satisfaction and referrals.
Patti was born and resided as a child in Moorhead Minnesota. Graduated from Fargo Shanley High School in 1983. Patti did her undergraduate study at the University of North Dakota receiving a Bachelor of Science and Social Work in December of 1996. At that time Patti relocated to the Twin Cities area and was employed at New York Life Insurance and Ecolab Inc. During that same time Patti attended William Mitchell College of Law. Upon graduation, she passed the bar exam and was admitted into practice in the Bar in the fall of 1995. Upon admittance to the Bar, Patti went into private practice, where she remains today at Adams Schinzing P.A.
Patti is married to Mike Schinzing, also an Attorney and a retired United States Naval Office, as a result of her marriage, she has become very familiar with issues surrounding military marriage, divorce and military pension. Patti and Mike have one son. Patti, along with her family is very active in the St. Paul community where she serves on the board of directors for their local youth hockey program, Johnson Como Hockey Association.
