Overview
Rachel Mitchell is a lawyer in the Nashville Morgan and Morgan office, where she exclusively practices Social Security Disability law. She has represented hundreds of individuals, throughout the United States, in their quest to obtain Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits. Rachel brings a unique perspective to the practice due to having a family member who navigated the Social Security Disability Insurance process. Rachel has spent her career in service to others. Prior to working as an attorney, Rachel was the Executive Director of a non-profit ministry. She was the recipient of the Birmingham Bar Association's Women's Section, "Service to Women Award" while a student in law school. She served as a former co-President of Auburn University's Gamma Phi Beta House Corporation Board of Directors and as a board member with various other community programs.
Rachel received a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association.
Outside of Morgan and Morgan, Rachel can be found cheering on her son at soccer games. She and her husband, Josh, are avid Auburn football fans and love all things Auburn!
