Rasha represents employees with various claims, including claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and Section 451 of the Texas Labor Code. Rasha represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration. Rasha also represents employees in governmental administrative proceedings, including those held before the Texas Workforce Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the United States, the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. Rasha regularly reviews employment contracts, severance agreements and disciplinary proposals on behalf of her clients. Additionally, Rasha represents employees in appeals to the Office of Special Counsel and the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Rasha graduated from Texas State University with honors. Rasha attended Texas Tech University School of Law where she graduated with a Juris Doctor, cum laude. Rasha is licensed to practice in the State of Texas. Rasha is admitted in Texas State Court, as well as the Eastern District and Northern District of Texas.
