Attorney Renee L. Dehn is a seasoned trial attorney whose practice focuses on family law, employment matters, criminal law and civil litigation. Renee has 12 years of litigation experience and has tried dozens of cases.
Renee represents clients in family law matters involving divorce, custody, placement, child support, property division and paternity issues. Renee understands that these matters are often very complex and difficult emotionally and she guides her clients through their case process with care and understanding.
Renee also assists clients with a variety of employment matters such as drafting and reviewing severance agreements, personnel handbooks and personnel policies, as well as litigating wrongful termination, discrimination claims and unemployment insurance appeal issues.
In the area of criminal law, Renee has tried many serious and high profile felony cases. She spent many years as a prosecutor and has extensive knowledge and expertise in the area of O.W.I./D.U.I. law. While serving in the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office (Rockford, IL) Renee was named as an “Outstanding Assistant State’s Attorney” by AAIM (Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists). Renee has taught on a variety of topics related to impaired driving for the Illinois Department of Transportation through the University of Illinois-Springfield.
Renee also assists clients in resolving monetary and contractual disputes. Renee’s attention to detail and tireless work ethic delivers outstanding results for her clients.
