Richard began his career as a sole practitioner, finding success in criminal defense and civil rights cases. He is credited with resolving several multi-million-dollar claims involving employment and labor law disputes as well as a high-profile homecare fraud case. Today he litigates a variety of criminal cases including DUI, firearms, drugs, sex crimes, homicide, summary offenses, and traffic.
After completing his undergraduate at Temple University, Richard graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in Florida in 2014. There he completed a dual degree program earning his JD and MBA, served as managing editor of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, receiving a pro bono commendation, and also began the practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Richard is the 2017 recipient of the Avvo Clients' Choice Award.
He is a member of the Pennsylvania, District of Columbia and Florida Bars and is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is active in the Philadelphia Bar Association, serving on both the Municipal Court and Professional Responsibility committees, and also volunteers with JEVS Human Services in addition to his pro bono work.
Richard resides in Philadelphia.
