Broomfield in 1983. He then defended doctors and hospitals for 5 years under the mentorship of Barry MacBan and Duane Olson. In 1989, Rob started representing victims of medical neglect and chaired the malpractice department at Langerman, Begam, Lewis & Marks through 1993. He opened his own practice in Scottsdale in 1994 and has well over 25 years of experience litigating cases of Medical Negligence, Birth Injury, Surgical Error; defective products and other cases of serious injuries caused by the negligence of others.
Rob is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognizes the accomplishments of lawyers who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients. He is AV rated and listed in Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He helped create new law in the State of Arizona and has several reported cases. He authored "The Right to Videotape Depositions," in The Arizona Trial Lawyers Association Advocate (February 2000). He has lectured on numerous occasions on medical malpractice. Rob has a passion for helping disabled children. He served for several years on the Board of Gompers Rehabilitation Center, a rehabilitation center for seriously disabled children and adults, serving as chairman for 2 years.
He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona; the Maricopa County Bar Association; The American Association for Justice, where he is a member of the Birth Trauma Litigation Group, Professional Negligence Group, Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group, and the Nursing Home Litigation Group; and he is a sustaining member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association/AzAJ.
