Rodney Pagel - Bismarck, ND

Overview

Born and raised near Hettinger, ND, Mr. Pagel graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1990 with a double major in education and psychology. He thereafter attended the University of North Dakota School of Law, graduating with distinction in 1993. After graduating from law school, Mr. Pagel worked at LaBine Law Firm in Grand Forks as an associate attorney for four years, practicing primarily in the area of personal injury litigation before moving to Bismarck in 1997 and starting Pagel Weikum Law Firm and then entering into partnership with Mr. Hager to start the Pagel Hager Law Firm.

Mr. Pagel is licensed to practice in North Dakota and Minnesota. He has served on the board of Joint SBAND and the ND Medical Association as well as vice-chair of the Inquiry Committee West. He has lectured on litigation, law firm operations and ethics. Rodney Pagel's current practice focuses primarily in the area of family law, contract disputes, and personal injury litigation, working extensively in these areas to provide compassionate, experienced and personal representation. He has 25+ years of experience in handling personal injury, wrongful death, auto accidents, premises injuries, product liability, medical and legal malpractice, and insurance litigation as well as all aspects of family law and contract disputes. He has provided representation for clients against large drug companies in cases such as Fen-Phen and Vioxx litigation and well has handling multiple high-end divorce / custody cases involving businesses and estates exceeding $100,000,000. Mr. Pagel is an experienced trial litigator, having participated in multiple bench, jury, civil and criminal trials throughout the course of his 25+ years as an attorney. He has argued over 25 appellate cases in the North Dakota Supreme Court and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
