Within weeks of completing high school, Ron Hatfield launched his pursuit of excellence by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. During his five year tour as an active duty Marine, Ron served as an aviation electronics technician at various military bases all over the world, including more than six months in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. As an avionics tech, he was committed to troubleshooting and repairing a multitude of electronic equipment on his unit's aircraft in order to fulfill daily mission requirements, often making split-second decisions while maintaining utmost concern for quality and safety. He brings this same discipline, dedication, and intellectual skill to the practice of law at Jenkins Fenstermaker, PLLC.
Ron received his undergraduate degree (B.A. History) from Marshall University in 1997, and he is a 2000 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. As a practicing attorney, Ron has represented both business and individual clients in the diverse field of general civil litigation, concentrating on personal injury, property damage, construction defects, product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance coverage issues.
