Overview
Ryan joined Austgen Kuiper Jasaitis P.C. as an attorney in 2014 after graduating magna cum laude from Valparaiso University School of Law. Prior to that, he assisted at the firm as a law clerk during his time at VU. Ryan did his undergraduate work at St. Ambrose University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History Education, with honors.
His practice areas include: criminal defense; real estate law; contract law; civil litigation; and appeals. Ryan has been admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana. He is also licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
Ryan is a member of: the Lake County Bar Association; the Indiana State Bar Association; the Cook County Bar Association; and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has taught on the Valparaiso University School of Law Adjunct Faculty.
While in law school Ryan was awarded 2nd Best Oralist in the Susan J. Ferrell Moot Court Competition. He was also heavily involved in the Valparaiso University School of Law Review, and served on the International Moot Court Executive Board.
