Mr. Nath has handled a wide variety of personal injury cases, ranging from auto and construction accidents to injuries caused by police misconduct. His practice focuses on personal injury cases, wrongful death, and cases brought under the New York State Child Victims Act on behalf of victims of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of clergy, foster agencies, schools, summer camps and numerous other institutions.
Prior to becoming a Personal Injury Attorney, Mr. Nath served as a Police Officer in Westchester County for eight years which ended because of a line-of-duty motor vehicle accident resulting in his own injuries. During his recovery, Mr. Nath graduated summa cum laude from Monroe College with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and later earned his JD, cum laude from Pace University, School of Law in 2015.
Prior to joining Silver and Kelmachter, LLP, Mr. Nath served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department defending personal injury cases on behalf of the City, where he was promoted to Unit Mentor and tasked with training new attorneys.
While Mr. Nath's Law Enforcement background gives him unique insight into investigating his clients' cases, his life experience fuels his drive to fight for people undergoing life-changing injuries.
