Scott graduated Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University with an undergraduate degree in Political Science with a Pre-Law Emphasis. Following his undergraduate studies, Scott attended the University of Oklahoma Law School where he graduated with Honors and ranked within the top 10% of his class. While attending law school, Scott earned the Am Jur Award for the highest grade in a law school course in Civil Procedure I; Civil Procedure II; Contracts; Legislation and Regulation; Mineral Title Examination; and Trial Techniques. During law school, Scott was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review where he served as an Assistant Managing Editor. Scott is also a member of the Order of the Coif.
