She has practiced law for over 22 years, and has extensive experience in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including transportation law, premises liability, legal and medical malpractice, professional liability, negligent security, products liability, nursing home negligence, civil rights, and insurance litigation. She has tried numerous wrongful death, negligent security, and personal injury matters, in both State and Federal Court. Stephanie has also authored appellate briefs and has argued in front of the Second District Court of Appeal.
Stephanie is a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney. Less than 1% of the over 93,000.00 members of the Florida Bar have earned this title. Board certified attorneys possess special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in their areas of practice. Stephanie brings a wealth of experience to Morgan and Morgan's plaintiff's practice having served, in the past, as defense counsel for corporations and insurance companies in personal injury litigation.
Additionally, Stephanie is a former member and chair person for the Grievance Committee of The Florida Bar for Hillsborough County 13-B, is a past committee chair and mentor for the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers, and is a past member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Stephanie graduated with her juris doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1999. She obtained a Bachelor of the Fine Arts in Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City in 1991.
Outside of the practice of law, Stephanie has been happily married for 24 years, and has an 18-year-old daughter who is graduating high school this year and is preparing to attend college in the fall. She has been active in volunteering at her daughter's school, band, and dance events over the years, and has volunteered her time for the SPCA Suncoast, having both rescued and fostered numerous animals.
