Tanvir H. Rahman (Partner) - White Plains, NY

Overview

Mr. Rahman received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor on the Journal of International Law and Politics, and was selected to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the NYU Law Lawyering program.

Following law school, Mr. Rahman served as a law clerk to the Hons. John P. Wesley, David Suntag, and Thomas A. Zonay of the Vermont Superior Court. While in law school, Mr. Rahman worked as a summer associate at Morgan Lewis & Bockius, completing projects assigned by the Labor & Employment and Litigation practice groups. Mr. Rahman also worked as an intern in the Litigation Bureau of the New York State Attorney General's Office, and as an extern for the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, Environment Justice Program.

Mr. Rahman graduated from the Macauley Honors College at Hunter College, where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. While in college, Mr. Rahman worked as an intern for a prominent New York City criminal defense attorney, and assisted in high profile criminal matters, including federal death penalty, terrorism, and organized crime cases.

Mr. Rahman is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and New Jersey state courts.
