Tanya is involved in various activities at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Bakersfield. You can find her, for example, serving food at the annual Greek Food Festival, which benefits church and other community projects. She was part of the inaugural class of the Bakersfield Innovation Lab, program aimed at developing projects to improve downtown Bakersfield, making it a more desirable place to live, work and visit. She is also an Executive Board Member of the Bakersfield Christian High School Alumni Association.
