Overview

Mr. Kohn is a 1969 graduate of the School of Industrial Relations of Cornell University. Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Army, he received his law degree in 1974 from Georgetown Law School, where he was awarded the Kennedy Prize as the top student in labor law studies. He was initially employed by the Eastern Conference of Teamsters as a Staff Attorney for approximately seven years and since 1981 has been engaged in private practice. He is counsel to Teamsters Joint Council No. 53 and has devoted his practice to the representation of unions in arbitrations, litigation, negotiations and before the National Labor Relations Board and other administrative agencies.
